Happily Ever Payne

It's been a LONG time since I've done a blog. But I think the Payne Wedding deserves to shine today in the blogging world!

Isn't that the truth? Life just wouldn't be the same without the thousands of ways to show love! It truly is the center of our lives! That's exactly what the Payne wedding displayed on June 26th. The amounts of love between these two, their families and God made everything so perfect!

In 2004, I began my journey in the great world of High School. That's when I met one of my greatest friends that I am so blessed to still have in my life.

Christin and Josh have been dating for a very long time. I'd say it has been over ten years they have been together (or right at it)! Christin came to me about a year ago to ask me about photographers for her wedding. I never thought I'd be the one to be trusted with such a big day in their lives but the fact I was tickled me pink! I have been so honored to follow them on this journey and I am so thankful for it!

We started this journey off with engagement pictures at Biltmore. We really tried to take their pictures on the parkway but we couldn't really find what we were looking for. To be honest, I'm glad we didn't because Biltmore turned out to just perfect for the backdrop of their engagement pictures. Here are a few of my personal favorites.

Next step in the journey was to take Christin's bridal portraits. I totally wanted to rock this session so we picked out the perfect location for what Christin had in mind. She wanted fields in the background and the perfect place to mind was Cataloochee Valley. There was maybe 3 other cars there this day and the chances of rain were very high. But we went ahead and lucked out.

And then finally it was the big day! I feel like everyone has been waiting for this big day for a very long time. From the moment these two started dating we all knew what their future held... we just waited for their prefect day to arrive!

This was the coolest idea I have ever seen! It was a pretty hot June day... so the fact that the guest could cool down on these while waiting on the ceremony to begin was pretty awesome... and it was a big hit too!

This may have been my most favorite part of the ceremony! This LOVE!!!

Jordan is a Senior!

Jordan is a beautiful girl graduating high school this year! She is going to a great college (I may be somewhat partial to her choice!) I know she will love college life!

Jordan and her mom chose to have her Senior Session at Lake Junaluska! It's a beautiful lake in the heart of the mountains! I always love shooting here on a beautiful day! The sun was somewhat of a challenge during this shoot but for the most part I think we worked around it pretty well.

Fun Fact!!
During this session, a friend of mine tagged along. She was a great assistant that had tons of additional ideas. She's hired!

Enjoy Jordan's Senior Session! Here are a few of my favorites.... :)

Thank you Carla and Jordan for a fun session! I hope you enjoy these photos for a lifetime!
