Canaan & Boone are Married!!!

I have known the McCoy family since practically the day I was born. I am pretty sure Heidi has told me a couple of times she was in the waiting room (Bride of the mother, who use to babysit me!). I grew up knowing Clint, Colby and Canaan. We had a few play dates here and there! And our dads were best friends growing up and still work together. 

Today was Canaan and Boone's big day (5-31-14). She was a stunning bride. Boone sure is one lucky man! Their venue was right on the grooms family's gorgeous farm! How special is that? It sure is a beautiful place! They couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to get married at!

Practice Makes Perfect!

Details, Details, DETAILS!!! Details are my most favorite part of weddings (well second to the bride and groom of course!) and they are a very important part for any photographer. I wish I had more shots of the details of my wedding. Plus you work hard on those small and big details... so it's important for me to make sure they are on my list for your day! 

Ring shots at first came to be very difficult for me to capture. Over some time, I have practiced as much as I could and by looking at these lovely shots... I'd say the practicing was worth it! 

And then I couldn't resist trying to add in some fun...

Andrea & Levi got married today! It's hard to believe all of us "kids" are getting married. I have known Levi as long I can remember. Some time way back in elementary school. We eventually graduated high school together. I am so happy to see he has found someone who he truly loves and is loved in return. They are perfect for each other! Here are a few of my favorites from their day!

Off to their Senior Prom....

Doing this session makes me think back on all the times I went to prom. You spend all day getting ready for the big night. Nails, hair, make up, photos, out to eat and then dancing the night away! Oh, to be that young again.
